“The more primary knowledge we have about our world, the stronger the context we have for evaluating the accuracy and the usefulness of information from the media.”

Having this idea of significance of the real world knowledge is very helpful in approaching the media. this would be our basic knowledge and foundation in developing media literacy. having this knowledge is a great advantage in distinguishing necessary information out of the flood of information everyday in our lives. Although media provided resources, it would be very nice if everyone can do their part and have a strong personal locus in seeking necessary information which wee actually need to satisfy our personal choice and needs, rather than just accepting what media gives without considering first one’s need.
